Sorel Boots

Most people who live in the colder parts of the world have probably tried a pair of Sorel boots. If you haven’t, you have certainly heard the rumors about the boots that are warm, durable and comfortable. Those rumors about the Sorel boots are true. The boots have been made since 1908, but it is in the recent years that the world has opened its eyes up for these magnificent boots. Needless to say, they have become a huge success. The Sorel brand is today owned by Columbia Sportswear.

The Sorel boots come in a lot of different shapes and designs. Even though the line is primarily a winter line, they do also come in summer designs. That said, the summer shoes from Sorel are pretty heavy models, almost borderline winter actually. Another thing they make is slippers. These slippers are in fact among the best you can get your hands on. They are top notch. The Sorel boot come in men’s, women’s and kid’s category. Even though most people think of Sorel Caribou boots, there are a great number of shoes in each of these categories. Each of the categories is split into lifestyle boots and sports boots.

Sorel mens boots

The men’s collection of Sorel boots is first and foremost known as a collection that is tough. These shoes are built for durability and strength. And that is just what they deliver. Not only that, they give a really nice macho impression that counts a lot. The men’s collection also includes two pairs of slippers: the Falcon Crest and the Manawan. These Sorel slippers really live up what you would expect to get from a brand like Sorel. They are warm and really comfortable. The entire men’s collection consists of 20 models, most of them winter boots but some are more suited for summer.

Women’s Sorel Boots

Just as the men’s boots, the Sorel for women is durable and comfortable. They have been given a more feminine design though, and Sorel has been really lucky with the outcome. In a lot of countries, these shoes are high fashion. Strange how that works, originally made as a warm and comfortable winter boot and ending up as fashion. This is one of the few companies that have actually done that. The women’s collection does have all you can expect to find in a line of winter boots. Warmth, comfort, style and durability just to name a few of the good qualities. The ladies collection also includes slippers. As with the men, the ladies have two models to choose from, one that is a little bit higher than the other one. The low one is called Nakiska and the high one Valle Bleue. They also have some summer models to choose. In all, the women’s Sorel Boots collection consists of 29 models.

Kid’s Sorel Boots

If the parents have Sorel boots, why can’t the children have them too? Well, they can. Sorel actually has a great collection of kid’s boots. When you think about what Sorel really is about, durability, strength, warmth, waterproof, you know that this is shoes that would fit great for kids as well. The kid’s collection consists of 12 different models, including a children’s edition of the Sorel Caribou boots.

So, as you can see, there is something for just about anyone in the collection. My personal favorite is to use the sorel shoes when I go ice fishing. I just pop them and some warm clothes on and bring a camping chair, and I am all set. Why don’t you go out and buy Sorel Boots? They are certainly worth it!

Sorel Slippers

Even though they are not shoes or boots in the normal sense, Sorel slippers have become such a big part of the Sorel family that they really belong up there with the rest of them. As we know, Sorel is one of the world’s best producers of winter shoes and boots. Now that they have started to make slippers as well, they have a more complete set of footwear to offer their customers.

The Sorel slippers have everything that we expect from something Sorel has produced. They have that Sorel look in them by being fluffy and really looking warm. Actually the design of the slippers is pretty much flawless in that they both maintain the good old Sorel feeling and they look good.

How great is it to come back from a long day out in the snow and take of your warm and comfortable Sorel boots and have not one Sorel slipper, but two waiting for you in the hall? As they say: “these slippers will make your feet smile.”

Sorel Falcon Ridge Slippers

These slippers are made with a suede upper part filled with a wool blend that is guaranteed to keep your feet warm from the moment you step out of bed and in to them. The foot bed it self is mad from molded EVA, which ensures your comfort. They also have a rubber outsole that gives you the opportunity to take small walks outside the house as well. Falcon Ridge is delivered in two colors: coal and marsh.

Sorel Manawan Slippers

Manawan is the choice for those of you who often get cold on your feet. Compared to Falcon Ridge it is a bit higher. This ensures that once you get warm on your feet, you will keep it that way. It is made with the same suede upper part and filled with the same wool/acrylic blend. It has the same foot bed and sole. Could be though of as Falcon Ridge’s big brother. Manawan is also delivered in coal and marsh colors.

Sorel Womens Slippers

Sorel Nakiska Slippers

These are slippers that really look great. Made with a suede upper shoe and filled with a wool/acrylic blend, they practically scream comfortable. And they really are. The EVE molded foot bed ensures that the feet will do just what Sorel say they will; smile. The models for women are also made with a rubber sole, which enables you to take short walks outside. This model comes two colors: Dark Tundra and British Tan.

Sorel Valle Bleue Slippers

Just as the men, the women also deserve to have a model that is just that small fraction warmer. In Valle Bleue they have just that. A bit higher than the Nakiska, it keeps the warmth you create in a much better way. Other than that it has the same good and comfortable features. They are delivered in only a British Tan color.

There you have it. I can guarantee that these slippers will be among the best you have ever had. I have not been able to find better ones at least. Sorel Slippers really do make your feet smile.
